Official Press Release about the 2nd International Muslim Unity Convention.

The Ramadhan Foundation is pleased to announce officially the 2nd International Muslim Unity Convention to be held from 15th – 16 December 2009 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Four years ago in Manchester, UK the world’s most renowned Muslim scholars, thinkers, economists and politicians came together to discuss and agree how Muslims can unite and tackle the common issues facing our diverse communities. In an unprecedented show of Muslim unity for the first time in Western World we were able to demonstrate what we can achieve together.

Now four years on, bigger and better in the peace capital of the world Kuala Lumpur, this great city where diversity is practiced and celebrated Muslims will come together to reflect on the journey towards Muslim Unity.

We are pleased to announce that the Prime Minister of Malaysia HE Dato' Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak has agreed to open the Convention and along with the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad, the Worlds most renowned scholars, leaders and economists this promises to be the event of the year.

Over the next few weeks we intend to announce the line up of the Speakers and their biographies will appear on the official convention website:
